Virginia Oen
Virginia sits on the Board of Directors as President of Womenwise Inc. Recently retired from the financial industry, she currently lives in a small town north of San Antonio, Texas. Although this is her first experience in the nonprofit world, she is excited to be able to provide her many years of experience with project management, document creation, and overall “can do” attitude to keep the wheels moving forward in support of our outreach to women in need.
Monica D. Giffing
Monica lives in rural Colorado and is a Superintendent of Schools. She brings a strong commitment to service, collaboration, and thoughtful leadership. With a background in education and organizational leadership, she is passionate about supporting women through meaningful connection, practical tools, and purposeful outreach. Monica values building strong, sustainable foundations behind the scenes and is excited to contribute to a mission that empowers women to heal, grow, and move forward with confidence.
Cindy McCoy
Cindy is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with a diverse background in Interior Design, Executive Search, and Business Development. She has led high-end residential and commercial design projects throughout Colorado, and California, and founded two companies, including a nationally recognized infant Moses Basket brand carried by Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom. She also founded an executive search firm specializing in senior financial leadership roles, including CFOs, Directors of Finance, and Controllers.
Cindy is deeply committed to service, with volunteer experience supporting organizations that combat sex trafficking and assisting individuals and families facing food insecurity through a Denver-based food bank. A single mother of three and grandmother of eight, she brings both professional expertise and compassionate leadership to nonprofit board service. Cindy is thrilled to support and be a part of WISE.
